To start the year off we have Malcolm White, ex- town clerk, talking about “Saffron Walden – then and now”, with slides. As he is very knowledgeable about the area, it should be interesting for both long-term residents and more recent arrivals to the town.
As usual we meet at the Bowls club in Abbey Lane at 2.15 for 2.30pm start.
All U3A members are welcome and the fee of £3 should cover our costs.
Put Monday 3rd February in your new diary now in case you forget!
