The presentation begins by describing the RAF in 1939, personnel and aircraft and the limited effectiveness of Bomber Command at the start of World War 2.
There is an explanation as to why we were not winning the war against Hitler’s Germany including events which resulted in formation of the Pathfinder Force, established at RAF Wyton in August 1942.
There are descriptions of the Stirling, Halifax and Lancaster bombers. Reports from crew members to Kevin on how the crews operated them, their experiences and techniques used to identify targets over Germany.
Throughout the PowerPoint presentation there are references to some notable war time personalities.
