Ever since the lockdown, we have moved our lessons onto Zoom, 1-1:30pm on Tuesday and Friday afternoons.
After overcoming all the technical issues and all the doubts about online learning, we discovered that learning Mandarin online can be so much more enjoyable. We have developed so many online and printable games, and a Youtube channel where I make videos to help students revise.
By telling the stories and development behind the Chinese characters, I make the most difficult part of learning Chinese more enjoyable and memorable.
Overall, I think the Chinese language is just different but not difficult.
