The group normally meets on the second Monday of each month from 2.30 to 4.30pm at the Bowls Club in Abbey Lane , Saffron Walden. There is a small charge each term to cover the cost of hiring our venue.
In view of the Government’s pandemic restrictions we are until further notice meeting each month on Zoom.
Saffron Walden Photography Competition. The Saffron Walden Initiative and the Saffron Walden Camera Club have organised a photographic competition entitled ‘Images of Saffron Walden 2021’. We are invited to photograph our lovely town and nearby area and celebrate the landscape, townscape, environment, street scenes and activities.

April’s set subject, ‘Made of Metal’ gave us a bumper crop of over 100 submitted images, a small selection of which you can see below.
For May we shall be photographing ‘Flowers’ as our main theme. In addition we have planned a ‘location’ meeting at Cambridge Botanic Gardens. So I am sure we shall have something interesting to show you next month.
There must be more members out there who enjoy taking photographs. If so, please feel free to join us whatever your experience or photographic interests.

Despite the lockdown restrictions the Photography Group has continued taking photographs. Two themes were suggested for May and a selection of each, ‘Mono’ and ‘Colour’, are available for your viewing below.
