The group generally meets on the second Monday of each month from 2.30 to 4.30pm at the Bowls Club in Abbey Lane , Saffron Walden. There is a small charge each term to cover the cost of hiring our venue.
In view of the Goverment health warnings and the fact that all U3A bookings for the Bowling Club have been cancelled until the end of the academic year, I am afraid I have to pull the plug on all our group meetings for the rest of this year. I have fingers crossed that we can start again in September (Monday 14th) but watch this space!
June saw some of us attempt two very challenging photographic subjects – ‘Food’ and ‘Made of Glass’ in addition to the usual general images. See below. We recorded some limited success with our two specialist subjects but I let you judge how well we did.
There is still no sign of us getting back to normal group meetings but one of these days……….
If you would like more information about the group please speak or email Tony on 01799 516707 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
You can be assured of a warm welcome.
June 2020 Photos – Food, Made of Glass, and Other.
Despite the lockdown restrictions the Photography Group has continued taking photographs. Two themes were suggested for May and a selection of each, ‘Mono’ and ‘Colour’, are available for your viewing below.
Let us know what you think, or better still send Tony any photos you have taken during lockdown. We will publish the best of your entries on the main News page. Open to all our U3A members – so what are you waiting for?
Keep Alert & best wishes

We may be in ‘lock-down’ but we are still taking photographs, even though we find ourselves restricted to home, garden or local. Our members have provided a wide selection of subjects, a few of which they share with you below, hopefully lifting your spirit.
